Servicing.

A service is required if the timepiece works but doesn’t keep time or stops. It will require a full strip down, clean, rebuild & lubrication of all relevant parts

I do recommend considering changing the mainsprings (if fitted and their history is unknown) as they can cause damage to gear trains when they break fully wound.

Restoration

A restoration is required if there is a fault with the timepiece. Common faults are: it keeps winding, Its fully wound, The pendulum suspension spring is broken.

The fault(s) will be resolved accompanied by a complete service.
